The Capitol Theatre

17  The original two-level auditorium of the Capitol Theatre. In 1965, in a major refurbishment, the stalls level was replaced by a shopping arcade, and the raked seating of the top level was continued down to a new stage level, above the arcade. • From the Tom Ingram Collection.
