Charlton Weekend Away.During May, 2004, over thirty members and friends visited the Art-Decco Rex Cinema, Charlton. The Largest Motel in the small country town, about 260 Kilometres from Melbourne, was totally booked out by members of CATHS. Our hosts for the weekend were Cinema owners Steve and Dennis, who organised the great country hospitality which we all appreciated. The visitors reciprocated by 'turning on' some Melbourne rain for the very parched district - a win win situation for all! The Rex Cinema, Charlton is definitely worth a visit for anyone touring the northwest of Victoria.
